Build your STEM community — attend the STEM Inclusion Summit

The 5th Annual STEM Inclusion Summit is a day dedicated to connection, collaboration and collective action, bringing together students, researchers, educators, staff and advocates from every ASU campus.

This year’s theme, “Building Community in STEM,” asks how we can connect across campuses, inside and outside the classroom, so no one has to do this work alone. It’s your chance to see what’s happening across the university, meet people who share your interests and find your people in STEM.

STEM Inclusion Summit
Thursday, Nov. 5, 2026, 9 a.m.–3 p.m.
Senita Ballroom, Student Pavilion, ASU’s Tempe campus

What to expect

Morning session: Welcome remarks and introduction to SEA CHANGE. Lighting talks, poster presentations and table talks provide three different formats for you to share and learn in a way that works best for you.

Free lunch provided.

Afternoon session: We will split up into optional working groups that build on the morning session to consider specific challenges and brainstorm solutions that will be reported back to the SEA CHANGE advisory committee. This is a chance to contribute to the dialogue that influences how ASU works toward inclusion. Working groups include student sessions for both undergraduate and graduate students, opportunities for faculty to discuss best practices in teaching, and learning what resources help student advising.
