Emergency Short Term Loan Application

Short term loans are available through the Short Term Loan Program for students who are in emergency financial situations. Short term loans are also available for books in the case that a financial aid disbursement is delayed. A short term loan is typically $500 per semester, if you have greater need we will review those on a case-by-case basis.

Eligibility Requirements

  1. Fall 2021 currently enrolled students.

Please Note:  For approved emergency Short Term Loan applications submitted before 2:30PM, you will receive an email to your ASU email address within 2-3 business days from Student Business Services (SBS) – Student Accounts. Once processed, your funds will be direct deposited to your bank account. If you are not set up for direct deposit, your check will be mailed to the mailing address on MyASU.   If you have not received an SBS email, please contact SBS at (855) 278-5080 if it has been more than 2-3 business days. Details related to student refunds are available on your My ASU .
