Scholarship awards are very competitive and if you are selected, you will be notified by the awarding office noted in the scholarship listing. Scholarship recipients are typically notified of selection in April and May. |

2021-2022 FAFSA Filing Priority Date Submit your FAFSA before ASU's priority filing date of January 15 each year to maximize the amount of aid you receive. Eligible students who apply by this date have a greater chance of receiving need-based aid. The priority filing date is not a deadline, so still submit your FAFSA even if the priority filing date has passed. For more information, click here. |

2021-2022 Obama Scholars Application Deadline for First-year Students and Current Participants You must submit your FAFSA and have a complete ASU admissions application on file (application, test scores, transcripts and application fee) in order to be considered for the Obama Scholars Program. This deadline applies to both incoming freshmen and current Obama Scholars. For more information about the Obama Scholars Program, please click here. Meeting criteria and deadline dates does not guarantee placement in the program as funding is limited and the program will close when available funds have been exhausted. |

Obama Scholars Must Confirm Their 2021-2022 ASU Housing Plans You must confirm your ASU housing by June 1 for your housing assignment to be finalized by August 1. If your housing assignment is not finalized by August 1, your budget will be changed to an off campus or at home with parent budget. As a result, your awards will be adjusted (i.e., reduced) accordingly. Visit the University Housing website . |
