08/13/2020 Fall 2020 Refunds Begin (sessions A and C)

For students enrolled in sessions A or C - Financial Aid and Scholarship Services begins the process of disbursement on August 10, 2020, however, the first refunds to students via mail or direct deposit will begin on August 13, 2020. All Financing Tasks listed on My ASU must be completed and student must be enrolled to receive first available disbursement. Disbursements will be made periodically once classes begin. For more details, please click here. Your disbursement date may be different if you are in a dynamically dated course (i.e., a course that is not a session A, B or C course).

08/25/2020 Begin Using Pell Grant Book Deferments for Fall 2020 (session B only students)

If you are a Federal Pell Grant recipient who has all outstanding financial aid verification documents submitted and are enrolled in fall 2020 session B, you may obtain your textbooks for the semester at the ASU Bookstore and have your book charges billed to your student account. If you are eligible, you will be sent an ASU email each semester with instructions. For more information, click here.

09/09/2020 Fall 2020 Census Date (session C)

For students enrolled in session C (including students enrolled in session A and C): For more info regarding ASU's financial aid census policy, please click here. This policy affects your award amounts. Your census date may be different if you are in a dynamically dated course (i.e., a course that is not a session A, B or C course).

09/27/2020 Deadline to use Pell Book Deferments for Fall 2020 (session B only students)

If you are a Federal Pell Grant recipient who has all outstanding documents submitted and enrolled in fall 2020 session B, you may obtain your textbooks for the semester at the ASU Bookstore and have your book charges billed to your student account. If you plan to use this benefit, you must do so by 6pm on this date. For more information, click here.

10/13/2020 Fall 2020 Consortium Agreement Submission Deadline

An ASU Consortium Agreement allows ASU degree-seeking students to receive certain financial aid awards based on their combined enrolled hours between ASU and another school during the same semester (i.e., enrolled at ASU and a community college during the same term). Please see the form for requirements, instructions and disbursement details.

10/13/2020 Fall 2020 SAP Review Submission Deadline

Submit your Satisfactory Academic Progress Review form before this date in order to appeal any SAP violation for the fall 2020 semester. Appeals submitted after this date will be considered only for regaining eligibility for the next semester.

11/16/2020 Fall Starbucks College Achievement Plan scholarship and reimbursement verification deadline

Eligible Starbucks Partners must submit all requested documents for financial aid verification in order to be considered for the Starbucks College Achievement Plan. 

*There are no exceptions to these dates. Be sure to submit documents early to resolve any potential errors or issues before the deadline dates.

 

11/20/2020 Fall Only Students - Deadline to Submit 2020-21 Student and Parent Reviews

If you are attending ASU for fall 2020 only, you must submit 2020-2021 Student Budget Reviews, Student Income Reduction Reviews and Parent Reviews along with all required documentation by this date in order for a reevaluation of the FAFSA and awards to occur.

12/04/2020 Last Day to Accept Fall 2020 Loans

At 5 p.m. (Arizona time), any loans that are not accepted will not be eligible for disbursement in the fall term. If you are enrolled in the spring term at least half time and have not used all of your annual loan eligibility for the academic year, you may be eligible to receive Federal Direct Loans in the spring term. Remaining loan eligibility for the spring term is determined by your current grade level, dependency status and cost of attendance.

01/01/2021 Spring 2021 Disbursements Begin (sessions A and C)
Financial Aid and Scholarship Services will begin applying your spring 2021 (sessions A and C) financial aid to your spring charges starting January 1st. All processing of refunds to be completed by January 8th. For more information,  click here.

03/05/2021 Spring 2021 Disbursements Begin (sessions B only students)
Financial Aid and Scholarship Services will begin applying your spring 2021 (session B only) financial aid to your spring charges starting March 5th. All processing of refunds to be completed by March 12th.
03/09/2021 Spring 2021 Consortium Agreement Submission Deadline

06/15/2021 Deadline to use Pell Book Deferments for Summer 2021 (session B) for Summer 2021 (session B)
If you are a Federal Pell Grant recipient who has all outstanding documents submitted and enrolled in summer 2021 session B, you may obtain your textbooks for the semester at the ASU Bookstore and have your book charges billed to your student account (online purchases only). 06/20/2021 Summer 2021 Disbursements (Session B only)
Financial Aid and Scholarship Services will begin applying your summer 2021 (session B only) financial aid to your spring charges starting June 20th. All processing of refunds to be completed by June 25th.
06/30/2021 Last Day to Submit the 2020-2021 FAFSA
The federal government will not allow students and parents submit the 2020-2021 FAFSA or make FAFSA corrections after this date.
07/01/2021 Last Day to Submit 2020-2021 Student and Parent Reviews for Summer 2021
Students who are attending ASU for summer 2021 must submit 2020-2021 Student Budget Reviews, Student Income Reduction Reviews and Parent Reviews along with all required documentation by this date in order for a reevaluation of the FAFSA and awards to occur.
