02/01/2016 2016-2017 ASU Scholarship Portal Application Deadline

The ASU Scholarship Application Portal collects your applications for several different scholarships, and saves your responses to common questions so that you don't need to complete the information twice. Completed applications for most scholarships must be submitted by this date. Please review deadlines carefully as some donors may require an application be submitted earlier.To search for scholarships, click here.

03/01/2016 ASU College Attainment Grant Program Application Deadline for Current Participants

You must submit your FAFSA and have a complete ASU admissions application on file (application, test scores, transcripts and application fee) in order to be considered for the ASU College Attainment Grant Program. This deadline applies to current participants. For more information about the ASU College Attainment Grant Program, please click here. Meeting criteria and deadline dates does not guarantee placement in the program as funding is limited and the program will close when available funds have been exhausted.

*There are no exceptions to these dates. The FAFSA must be free of errors and the admissions application with all necessary materials must be complete to be eligible for consideration. Be sure to apply early in order to resolve any errors or issues before the deadline dates.

03/01/2016 2016-2017 FAFSA Filing Priority Date

Submit your FAFSA before ASU's priority filing date of March 1 each year to maximize the amount of aid you receive. Eligible students who apply by this date have a greater chance of receiving need-based aid. The priority filing date is not a deadline, so still submit your FAFSA even if the priority filing date has passed.

03/01/2016 Obama Scholars Application Deadline

If you are a Federal Pell Grant recipient, you are eligible to obtain your textbooks for the semester at the ASU Bookstore and have your book charges billed to your student account (in-store purchases only). The last day to take advantage of the online benefit is 6pm on July 29, 2016. You may use the benefit in person at a Sun Devil Campus Store until August 1, 2016. For more information, click here.

For students enrolled in session B only - Financial Aid and Scholarship Services begins the process of disbursement on October 03, 2016, however, the first refunds to students via mail or direct deposit will begin on October 08, 2016. 10/13/2016 Fall 2016 SAP Review Form Deadline

Submit your Satisfactory Academic Progress Review form before this date in order to appeal any SAP violation for the fall 2016 semester. Appeals submitted after this date will be considered only for regaining eligibility for the next semester.

11/21/2016 Spring 2017 Pell Grant Recipients Eligible to Purchase Books with Financial Aid Begins

If you are a Federal Pell Grant recipient, you are eligible to obtain your textbooks for the semester at the ASU Bookstore and have your book charges billed to your student account (in-store purchases only). The last day to take advantage of the online benefit is 6pm on December 25, 2016. You may use the benefit in person at a Sun Devil Campus Store until December 28, 2016. 12/10/2016 Last Day to Accept Fall 2016 Loans

At 5 p.m. [Arizona time], any loans that are not accepted by the student will not be eligible for disbursement. Applies to all students not attending at least half-time the following spring semester (e.g., students graduating at the end of fall).
