Late Registration: College of Public Programs

Students who wish to request late registration must follow the instructions listed below:

You are requesting an exception to university policy; there is no guarantee that a late request will be approved.

Late add-late adds will be approved if the instructor for the course has approved the add.  Students will need either the instructor’s signature or an email verifying approval.  Late adds will require advisor signature and Dean’s Office signature as well.

Late swap-late swaps will be approved if  the instructor for the new section of the course has approved the add.  Students will need either the instructor’s signature or an email verifying approval.  Late swaps will require advisor signature and Dean’s Office signature as well.

Late drop-late drops are not allowed unless there are extenuating circumstances that cannot be resolved by withdrawal.  Late drops will be considered at the discretion of the advisors and will require advisor signature and Dean’s Office signature.

24 hour pick up policy-the College of Public Programs has 24 hour pick up policy for all late drop/add/swap forms.  Students may submit their correctly completed paperwork to UCENT 750.  Forms will be available for pick up in 24 hours.  Signatures will remain valid for 5 days.  Students with extenuating circumstances will be considered on a case by case basis.  Requests for consideration should be made through an advisor who will then submit the request to the Dean's Office.
