Incoming international students at Arizona State University are required to attend an International Student Orientation program. You will join students from around the globe to learn important information about the university and how to prepare for a successful academic year.
Program Information for Spring 2015
The spring 2015 International Student Orientation program will be held at the Tempe Campus on January 9, 2015 for all incoming students. Because attendance is required, you do not need to register to attend the program. Please bring your ASU Student Identification Card to check in to the program. If you are unable to bring an ASU Student Identification Card, you will need to provide your ASU Student ID Number as well as another form of photo identification.
New international undergraduate (bachelor’s degree-seeking) students will report to the Turquoise Ballroom on the second floor of the Memorial Union (MU) to check in for the program. Check-in starts at 9 a.m. Please plan to arrive no later than 9:30 a.m. The program concludes at 3:30 p.m. New international undergraduate students are also strongly encouraged to attend a New Student Orientation program to meet with an academic advisor and register for classes prior to attending the International Orientation program.
New international graduate (master’s and doctoral degree-seeking) students will report to the Turquoise Ballroom on the second floor of the Memorial Union (MU) to check in for the program. Check-in for graduate students starts at 8 a.m. Please plan to arrive no later than 8:30 a.m. The program concludes at 3:30 p.m.
Transportation from Downtown Phoenix, Polytechnic and West Campuses
Transportation to the program will be available for students living at the Downtown Phoenix, Polytechnic and West campuses. Please submit the Orientation Transportation Form is you need transportation from your campus to the International Orientation.
Program Information for Fall 2015
The fall 2015 International Student Orientation will be held at the Tempe Campus on Aug. 13 for graduate students and on Aug. 14 for undergraduate students. More details about the program will be provided later in the spring semester.
