Jennifer's Story

ASU Student Profiles

Major: Industrial Engineering
Hometown: San Luis, AZ

Jennifer is a senior pursuing a degree in industrial engineering. Although at first the cost of attending ASU seemed intimidating for Jennifer and her family, they quickly moved through the financial aid process and Jennifer received her financial aid package. "The aid that I received has helped me get to where I am now. The grants, loans and Work-Study awards cover my classes and living expenses."

Along with the financial aid, Jennifer has found additional value – both financial and experiential – in her on-campus job. "My Work-Study position has given me the opportunity to work at the university, affording me a valuable work experience that will help me in the future," says Jennifer. "I also have the friendship of co-workers and the opportunity to work with staff who care about me as a student as well as an employee!"
