Eboni's Story

Eboni is a senior majoring in business management. Eboni combines her academic experience with her experience as a professional actress, dancer and singer, and she is also involved in clubs such as the Black Business Students Association. Eboni says, "I have had many great opportunities to learn and grow in life. These opportunities prepared me for high school, college, work, and have taught me to keep an open, curious mind about everything."

Eboni, originally from Washington, DC, was raised by her mother and older sister after her father passed away when she was in the 7th grade. "I knew early on in life that I needed to do well in school so that I could get the funding I needed [for college]. I knew that my mother wouldn't be able to put me through college on her own especially after putting my sister through school.

"There are so many roads I could have traveled in life but my mom and sister were always pushing me to better myself. No matter where you come from, there’s never an excuse to not do what you want to do with your life."
