Accepting Your Loans

If you decide to borrow a student loan, you must:

1. Sign in, view your financial aid and accept an amount; avoid borrowing more than you need. FinAid.org has loan calculators that may help in deciding how much to borrow.
2. Complete a master promissory note (MPN).
3. Complete loan entrance counseling.

You can always accept a lesser amount of your loans up to the time of your first disbursement. If you accept a lesser amount and would like it increased again, please visit Student Financial Assistance. Please be aware that it can take up to one week for our office to receive notification that you completed your MPN or loan entrance counseling.
