Sports Medicine Fellowship

The ASU Sports Medicine team provides primary care and musculoskeletal care to all of ASU's Division I athletes as well as musculoskeletal care to all ASU students. In addition to the two full-time team physicians, Dr. Erickson and Dr. Overlin, the sports medicine team includes multiple board-certified primary care and orthopedic sports medicine physicians that collectively provide medical coverage for ASU, MLB umpires, the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Phoenix Suns, as well multiple high school, semi-professional and professional teams in the Valley. ASU Sports Medicine also boasts one of only two ACGME-accredited Primary Care Sports Medicine fellowships in Arizona, educating future sports medicine physicians in this one-year post-graduate fellowship.
