ASU offers numerous resources to support you in preparing your scholarship applications. In addition to your academic achievements, many applications require detailed resumes, personal statements, essays and competitive interview processes.

Learn how to highlight your unique strengths and experiences and make your application standout. Develop valuable skills now to assist you in applying for scholarships and apply these skills later towards graduation and beyond in your pursuit of future internships, graduate school admissions or employment.

  • Career Services hosts many career events and workshops through the fall and spring semesters as well as during the summer. Check out the calendar of events for details about career-related activities across all four campuses.
  • ASU Learning Support Services (LSS) – LSS writing tutors provide scholarship applicants with one-on-one writing consultations for their personal statements and applications.  Tutors can assist students at any stage of the writing process, from planning through revision.  Services are available through scheduled appointments or on a walk-in basis. LSS also offers a workshop for personal statement writing that addresses basic elements of writing and how to create a unique statement that responds to the requirements in the scholarship.  Workshops are available as needed, or can be scheduled ahead of time for students, classes, and ASU student organizations.
  • Explore Graduate School at ASU by attending face-to-face seminars on various topics like "Getting into Graduate School", "Preparing for the GRE" or "How to Finance Graduate School."
