Steps to get you into the classroom.

Step One:

Apply for admission to ASU if you are a new student. See complete steps for enrollment for new undergraduate students.

Step Two:

Once you are admitted, check your enrollment appointment. This is the date and time that you can begin registering for the upcoming semester (term). Register anytime from the date of your enrollment appointment through the end of the registration period. ASU encourages you to register as soon as you are able to.

Sign in to My ASU to learn the date of your enrollment appointment. If you are an entering freshman, your enrollment appointment is the date of your Orientation program. If you are not an entering freshman and you do not have an enrollment appointment assigned, contact the University Registrar's Office. Consult the Academic Calendar for more information on registration periods and deadlines.

Step Three:

Clear Your Registration Holds. Sign in to My ASU determine if you have any holds that will prevent registration. Examples of holds are missing transcripts, unpaid fees, academic advising requirements or immunizations. Click on the "Details" link next to each hold for instructions on how to clear the registration hold. Do not delay your ability to get the classes you want. Take care of your university business as quickly as possible to eliminate any holds to your registration.

Step Four:

Register for classes online or in person. View the class schedule online or in pdf format.

Step Five:

Sign in to My ASU to pay your tuition and fees. Read more about paying ASU charges.
