If my parents move to Arizona before I start classes at ASU, when can I attend as a resident?

As long as your parents (or 1 parent, if the parents are divorced) make a complete and permanent move to Arizona and you are their dependent for tax purposes, you can be classified as a resident for the next semester. You will need to file a petition for change of residency by the appropriate deadline in order to be classified as a resident.
