I have guardians who are Arizona residents. Can I be a resident based on being their dependent?
Residency can only be based on your guardians if your parents are deceased or their whereabouts are unknown. Guardians must be court-appointed legal guardians. It is best if you discuss your circumstances with a residency specialist in the residency classification office.
