File Your FAFSA
ASU's Federal School Code: 001081
For most types of financial aid, you will need to complete the FAFSA, available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. The FAFSA may be filed beginning January 1 of each year. File early to receive consideration for grants, student loans, Federal Work-Study and some scholarships. There is no charge for submitting the FAFSA, so if an agency is requesting payment information, you might be involved in a scam.
We encourage you to submit your FAFSA by ASU's priority filing date of March 1 each year. Eligible students who apply by this date have a greater chance of receiving institutional grants, Federal Work-Study and the Federal Perkins Loan. However, even if the priority date has passed, you may still submit your FAFSA anytime throughout the academic year.
