Tuition Commitment
Undergraduate Resident Tuition
Arizona State University is committed to providing undergraduate resident students with predictable tuition rates while they earn their degree. Beginning fall 2008 your undergraduate resident tuition will increase at a predictable rate of 5% annually beginning with your semester of admission or readmission. Degree-seeking undergraduate students are automatically assigned to a tuition cohort upon admission or readmission and do not need to take any action to benefit from the commitment tuition rate.
The commitment tuition rate applicable to each tuition cohort is initially equal to the annually set tuition rate and will increase 5% yearly thereafter until expiration of your commitment period. Undergraduate resident students not eligible for the commitment tuition rate include non-degree seeking students, students enrolled in six or fewer credit hours, and students whose commitment period has expired. Ineligible students will be billed at the annually set tuition rate.

Note: Continuation of the commitment tuition rate assumes no unusual levels of inflation and no substantial change in the levels of state support. Tuition and fee information provided here or in other University publications or web pages represent tuition and fees as currently approved. However, Arizona State University reserves the right to increase or modify tuition and fees without prior notice, upon approval by the Arizona Board of Regents or as otherwise consistent with Board policy and to make such modifications applicable to students enrolled at ASU at that time as well as to incoming students. In addition, all tuition amounts and fees are subject to change at any time for correction of errors. Finally, please note that fee amounts billed for any period may be adjusted at a future date.
