Scholarship Description Since 1985, the UNCF Scholarships and Grants Administration office has awarded in scholarship assistance over $105 million to over 28,000 students enrolled in its 39 member colleges and universities and other HBCUs and majority institutions as well. We provide support in numerous ways to a variety of constituencies. Once students complete a UNCF General Scholarship application, the information will be used to match them to many of the specific programs administered by UNCF.

  • Students must have unmet need as verified by the university financial aid office.
  • Students must complete the FASFA.
  • Please note, other eligibility criteria may be required for specific programs.
