P.E.O. Program for Continuing Education

Scholarship Description This is a one-time only grant for women sponsored by a P.E.O. Chapter. The money is intended as a grant-in-aid for expenses such as tuition, books, transportation, or childcare, necessary to reach the applicant's educational goal.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

This scholarship requires the following additional eligibility criteria/information:

A woman is eligible to apply for a grant from the P.E.O. Program for Continuing Education if she:
- is a citizen of the United States or Canada
- is sponsored by a P.E.O. chapter
- has had at least 24 consecutive months as a non-student sometime in her adult life
- is within 24 consecutive months of completing her educational goal
- not enrolled in a Ph.D., law degree, or medical doctorate degree program
- is studying in the U.S. or Canada

Additional Information The grant is a one time award. To receive a copy of the application, please email the contact and put "P.E.O. Program for Continuing Education" in the subject line. Include cell phone number to expedite the process. Applications will be considered no more than four months prior to the date of need on the application. All forms must be received eight weeks prior to the beginning of the term for which the grant is required. The grant is not to be used for living expenses or to repay educational loans.
