The John Babb Scholarship provides eligible students with a one-time award of $500 towards the purchase of an Apple or Dell laptop.

Additional Eligibility Criteria: 

This scholarship requires the following additional eligibility criteria/information:

  • Student must be currently enrolled in classes at ASU.
  • Student must have a current FAFSA on file with ASU, a completed financial aid file, and remaining need for additional financial assistance. If you do not have a FAFSA on file, you may apply at FAFSA's website.
  • Student must purchase a recommended Apple or Dell laptop through ASU 1:1 Computing and submit the resulting receipt, along with the completed scholarship application, to the ASU 1:1 Technology Studio located in Computing Commons 105 on the Tempe campus.
