General Scholarship Information ASU Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of the Amos H. Dudley Scholarship for the 2006-2007 academic year. Amos Dudley was an American Baptist minister assigned to provide services to an inner-city mission, the Valley Christian Center, in 1959. Mr. Dudley served as executive director of the Valley Christian Center for 29 years until his passing in 1988. Mr. Dudley was very active in the community and City of Phoenix, serving on many boards and committees. The Amos H. Dudley Foundation was established by family and friends following his death to support some of Mr. Dudley's favorite community interests, including the Campfire Boys and Girls, the Booker T. Washington Child Development Center, Hacienda de Los Angeles, the Valley Christian Center and student scholarships for minority students attending ASU.
