Freshman Year Experience - FYE
FYE provides academic support services, opportunities for the exchange of ideas, workshops, generates and supports research and scholarship, hosts visiting scholars and practitioners, faculty interaction within living and learning communities, administers a website, and student involvement opportunities with the university community. FYE is available for those living on or off-campus.
Learning Resource Center - LRC
The Learning Resource Center at Arizona State University provides tutoring, peer coaching, academic skills workshops, and software training to help students improve their academic performance and persist to graduation. LRC tutors help students develop study strategies to learn course concepts and succeed in their classes. Peer coaches help improve your time management, study habits & test-taking skills through academic peer coaching or academic skills workshops.
Writing Center
Tutors are available to help students wherever they are in the writing process. Tutors can help students brainstorm for topic ideas, develop a thesis, organize an essay, revise an essay-even collaborate with students to develop proofreading and editing strategies. Tutors assist students in developing, improving, and refining their papers. Services are available Monday through Friday and more help can be found on line as well.
Math Tutoring Center
Math tutoring is provided to all ASU students registered for math classes. There are numerous math classes in which tutoring is available as well as additional services in the fall, spring and summer sessions.
