Banner Health, along with ASU, are pleased to announce the availability of The David McHugh BHH Scholarship for exercise science and related studies. In Oct. 2006, Banner Heart Hospital (BHH) lost a dear friend and colleague when David McHugh, an exercise physiologist, passed away unexpectedly at the young age of 29.
David, an ASU Alumni, was an incredibly gifted man who enjoyed his job and loved working with his patients and co-workers at BHH. His passions to succeed and live life to the fullest were qualities admired by all. To honor David and his passion for exercise science, Banner Health established this scholarship with funds received from donations of people who were inspired by David.
