ASU Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of The Geyser Family Scholarship for the 2010 - 11 academic year. Jeff Geyser is proud of his long affiliation with ASU. He grew up in Tempe and graduated from the ASU College of Law in 1993, after obtaining a BA from Harvard University. His mother, Joyce Geyser, is also a graduate of the ASU College of Law. Jeff believes that education is critical on a personal and community level. He created this scholarship in order to provide the opportunity for others to realize their potential through ASU regardless of their financial situation. He particularly wants to support students who grew up in Arizona.

Minimum GPA: 3
Minimum Enrollment Status: Full-time
Residency: Arizona Residents Only
Need-based: Yes
Grade Level(s): HS Senior Enrolling for Fall, Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior
Campus(es): Downtown, Polytechnic, Tempe, West

Additional Eligibility Criteria: 
  • Must be a current Arizona resident and graduate of a high school in Tempe, Arizona.
  • An outstanding student attending ASU (any campus) full time and working toward an undergraduate degree (any major) during the 2010 – 11 academic year.
  • Have a 3.00 or higher academic GPA.
  • Have a demonstrated financial need (as determined by the student having filed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid Form and having the resulting "Student Aid Report" on file in the ASU Office of Student Financial Assistance). Preferred filing deadline – March 1, 2010.
  • Demonstrate the potential to continue with their college career by remaining in good standing with the University and maintain all scholarship criteria.
  • Agree to participate in mentoring or internship opportunities at the Donor's company.
