Scholarship Description The Marion Giorgi “Home For The Holidays” Award is a travel scholarship awarded to a student on the basis of financial need and academic merit. It is an endowed fund established in the memory of Marion Giorgi, the mother of an ASU alumnus. The purpose of the fund is to enable a self‐supporting student to travel home during academic recess periods, primarily the winter break (but at other times as appropriate).

Additional Eligibility Criteria: 
  • Must be a full time, self-supporting undergraduate student (24 credit hours per academic year).
  • Have a 3.2 cumulative (non-weighted) GPA or better.
  • Be regularly employed during the academic year.
  • Have a demonstrated financial need as determined by the student having filed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid form and having the resulting "Student Aid Report" on file in the ASU Office of Student Financial Assistance.  Preferred filing deadline - March 1, 2010.
