Scholarship Description

The ASU Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of The Borah and Marcia Perlmutter Charitable Fund Scholarship for commuting students to the ASU Tempe campus for the 2010‐11 academic year.

Amount: $1,000

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Minimum GPA: 3.5
Minimum Enrollment Status: Full-time
Residency: Not Applicable
Need-based: Yes
Grade Level(s): Sophomore, Junior, Senior, Transfer Students, Post Bacc., Graduate, Law, MBA
Campus(es): Tempe

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Must have completed at least 30 credit hours and majoring in Accounting, Finance or a major that could be utilized for the teaching of mathematics.
Be enrolled as a full‐time student (24 hours per academic year) at the ASU Tempe campus during the 2010‐11 academic year.
Have a 3.50 or higher cumulative academic GPA.
Have a demonstrated financial need (as determined by having filed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid form and have the resulting “Student Aid Report” on file in the ASU Office of Student Financial Assistance) – preferred filing deadline March 1, 2010.
Donor preference is for a student who is working to contribute to the cost of his/ her education.
