ASU Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of the Emily Rosamond Bauer Scholarship for the 2010-2011 academic year. This scholarship is a gift from the family and friends of Emily Rosamond Bauer. She was a perfect daughter, a loving sister, a best friend, a princess and beautiful person inside and out. These are the words that describe Emily from the people that she has touched. Her personality was like no other and she truly felt fortunate for everything that she had. She was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority, volunteer YMCA Youth Soccer Coach and helper at the Homeless food kitchen. Emily graduated from ASU in 2001. This scholarship is to honor Emily and the vivacious way that she embraced life.

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Minimum GPA: 2.75
Minimum Enrollment Status: Full-time
Residency: Arizona Residents Only
Need-based: Yes
Grade Level(s): Senior
Campus(es): Tempe

Additional Eligibility Criteria: 
  • Must be admitted and enrolled as a full‐time 4th or 5th Year Senior (12 credit hours per semester), majoring in any field at the ASU Tempe campus during the 2010-2011 academic year. Donor preference is given to females. Scholarship is not automatically renewable, students must reapply each year.
  • Be a resident of Arizona.
  • Have a 2.75 or higher cumulative academic GPA.
  • Have a demonstrated financial need (as determined by the student having filed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid Form and having the resulting "Student Aid Report" on file in the ASU Office of Student Financial Assistance). Preferred filing deadline – March 1, 2010.
  • Show involvement in leadership, community service and demonstrate the potential to continue with their college career by remaining in good standing with the University and maintain all scholarship criteria.
