Scholarship Description The purpose of the scholarship sponsored by the East Valley Pilot Club, Inc. is to
help implement the objectives of Pilot International and local Pilot Clubs to assist
persons who suffer from brain disabilities. These disabilities may be caused by
birth defects, traumatic injuries, Alzheimer’s or other brain diseases or disorders.
The scholarship is designed to assist persons who are re-entering an educational
program which will lead to a degree or specialized certification that will enable the
recipient to work with persons with brain disabilities. This is a renewable
scholarship.

Minimum GPA: 3
Minimum Enrollment Status: 1/2-time
Residency: Not Applicable

Grade Level(s): Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, Transfer Students, Post Bacc., Graduate, Law, MBA
Campus(es): Downtown, Polytechnic, Tempe, West

Additional Eligibility Criteria: 
  • Special consideration will be given to persons re-entering college or
    seeking to retrain for brain-related programs.
  • Must be enrolled in or applying to a program in an accredited institution
    with a specialized program to work with persons with brain injury or
    disabilities. For example: special education, physical therapy, sign
    language, nursing, and/or other therapy areas.
  • Must re-apply each academic year. Re-applications must be accompanied
    by an official transcript to verify G.P.A.
