Loan Exit Counseling

If you received financial aid in the form of federal loans, and you are about to graduate or have left the university permanently, you are required to complete a Loan Exit Counseling session.

Loan Exit Counseling provides you with deferment, forbearance and consolidation information if you decide to return to school or you are unable to make your payments for any reason. Explanations of the different repayment programs, repayment calculators, important terminology and several other valuable resources are also part of the process.

Federal Direct Stafford Loan

Federal Perkins Loan

You will recieve a letter from Education Computer Systems, Inc. (ECSI), a lending service that assists ASU in processing Perkins loan payments, with instructions on how to start repayment. If you do not receive a letter, contact the ASU Collections Office, Box 870303, Tempe, AZ 85287-0303.
