LINK at ASU

a multicultural student experience
…the LINK to your success!

Experience this one-week transitional summer program designed to introduce students to the first year at ASU. With a focus on the multicultural experience, LINK@ASU will provide exposure to campus resources, student leadership and academic enrichment opportunities to ensure a successful academic year.

LINK participants will...

  • Transition into ADELANTE, NATIONS and STARS - the first-year academic organizations and have the opportunity to join the STEP Multicultural Honor Society.
  • Meet with student leaders and become familiar with student resources and services, organizations and university traditions.
  • Meet and network with members of the ASU faculty, staff and alumni.
  • Attend seminars on balancing college/work and life skills, learning support resources, team and community building, and more…
  • Participate in inter-active sessions to enhance academic success and critical thinking.
  • Have the option to participate in an on-campus guest housing experience for the length of the program.

LINK@ASU equips students with the tools necessary to build a strong foundation to ensure academic success, retention and graduation.

Terms & Eligibility Requirements
  1. Must be an admitted first year ASU student.
  2. Must have registered to attend Freshman Orientation prior to June 12th.
  3. Must participate in all aspects of the program.
  4. Have the option to participate in a week-long residential stay on campus for an additional cost of $100.
  5. Complete LINK application and submit prior to the deadline, along with application fee.
  6. Upon selection into program, participant must complete an Acceptance Packet by May 1, 2009, or an alternate participant will be chosen.
