Student Financial Assistance will request this documentation only if it is needed to complete your financial aid file.
Student Financial Assistance has been notified that you were eligible for a Dependency Override from another institution. Dependency Override decisions do not remain in effect from one school to another.
Submission of a Dependency Review form is not a guarantee of appeal approval.
Dependency Override decisions do not remain in effect from one year to another. You will need to complete a Dependency Review form each year until you are considered independent by the Dept. of Education.
Instructions:
- To receive consideration for a Dependency Override from Arizona State University, you must submit the appropriate academic year's Dependency Review Form below. Please download the correct form below and follow the instructions included on it.
- Submit the form to Student Financial Assistance at the Tempe campus.
