Delete Grade Form
Deleting Grades
To be eligible for the deletion of "D" or "E" grades, the following conditions apply:
- You must be an undergraduate student repeating an undergraduate course in which you have earned either a "D" or "E" grade. You may not repeat for credit an undergraduate course in which a grade of "C" or better is earned.
- The undergraduate course in which grades of "D" or "E" are received may be repeated only once.
- If the repeated course is 100-200 level, the student's transcript shows both grades, but the student's cumulative GPA reflects only the higher grade.
- If the repeated course is 300-400 level, the student's cumulative GPA and the transcript reflect both grades.
- This policy does not apply to seminar and independent study courses with different content each semester.
- Students who have graduated are not eligible to delete the grade for a course taken before the award of the ASU bachelor's degree.
NOTE: This policy affects only undergraduate students and undergraduate courses.
