Danforth Chapel at ASU

Danforth Meditation Chapel, located on Cady mall northwest of the Memorial Union and south of the entrance to Hayden Library, serves the university community as a place for quiet rest and meditation.

Built in 1947, the Chapel was funded with an original gift from William H. Danforth and additional gifts from 75 valley individuals, churches, civic, and business organizations.

The chapel seats approximately 55-60 people and can be reserved for any day or time of the week and for as many hours needed. The chapel is equipped with a piano and an organ, and the Carillon Bells can be played during events when requested. Ministers are not provided for special events although a list of campus ministers is available.
