Classroom Services

Career Services offers a variety of resources to benefit your students. We offer presentations and workshops on several topics related to career development. If you would like to schedule a guest speaker, or if you are planning to miss a day of class, we can cover for you! We can also work with you to arrange an employer or ASU alumnus to speak to your class. You might even consider adding a Career Services activity as a class assignment.

Schedule a Guest Speaker

You may request a career advisor to visit your classroom for presentations on a range of topics including: building a resume, incorporating effective networking strategies, maximizing career event experiences, and refining interviewing skills.

Don't Cancel Class Program

If you are planning to be absent at any time during the academic year, why not invite a career advisor to give a presentation to your class or host a workshop? We will visit your classroom, or you can send your students to our office. You won't have to cancel class after all.

Bring An Employer to Class

Call Career Services to schedule an employer or ASU alumnus to give a presentation to your class. This is a valuable opportunity for your students to learn directly from professionals who are working in their chosen field.

Attend a Job Fair or Event

Encourage (or require) your students to attend a Career Services event this semester. We sponsor many helpful workshops, career fairs and more to help your students be successful in their job search. Your students should check our career event calendar regularly.

Jobs and Internships

Career Services collaborates with faculty and academic departments to develop experiential education opportunities for students and help them explore career options for their chosen major.

Internships provide valuable training experience for students while they are still in school. We will work with you and your students to help find internships that are relevant to their degree and provide positive learning experiences.

Request a class presentation about finding internships, what to expect from an internship, and how to best package that experience into a resume to help students develop their careers.

Forward a Job Posting

Are you aware of an employment opportunity for students? Let us know or ask the employer to log in directly to Sun Devil CareerLink and post the position.
