Career Advising

The centerpiece of ASU Career Services is one-on-one career advising. ASU students and alumni are welcome to meet with one of our experienced advisors to discuss their individual career needs and questions. Career advising isn't just for seniors about to graduate. It is available to any ASU student, irrespective of their year in school, and to all alumni.

"Meeting with a career advisor helped me to understand that I'm a lot more qualified than I expected, and it gave me a broader view of my possible job opportunities."
-- Kaitlin McPeak, M.Ed. Higher and Post Secondary Education, Class of 2007
Career Advising Options
To accommodate students and alumni needs, each campus offers career advising in several different ways.
Drop-In Career Advising: Available for quick questions, resume and cover letter review, and other career-related issues, on a drop-in, no-appointment basis.
Career Advising by Appointment: Meet one-on-one with a professional career advisor at a time convenient for you. Please call ahead to schedule an appointment.
Career Peer Advising: On some campuses, we have professionally trained some of your fellow students to assist you in many of the most common career issues or concerns. They are available without an appointment. Career peer advisors are equipped with the background and knowledge to help you identify the best career resources, respond to your questions about using Sun Devil CareerLink, and help you polish your resume and employment correspondence.
