The ASU Advantage
ASU established the ASU Advantage program in 2005 to address the ability for low-income Arizona students to attend ASU. The program covers the estimated direct costs of attending ASU (minus the student's Expected Family Contribution) for eight full-time, consecutive semesters for students from targeted annual family income levels. Estimated direct costs include actual tuition and mandatory fees as well as standardized allowances for books/supplies, room and board. ASU covers estimated direct costs through a combination of financial aid resources that do not require repayment.
ASU is pleased to announce the President Barack Obama Scholars program for new freshmen beginning in fall 2009.
