Receive Your Student Aid Report

After filing your FAFSA, the federal government will mail you a paper SAR or send you an e-mail notifying you that your SAR is available for your review on the FAFSA Web site. Your SAR lists your EFC figure, which is used by ASU to determine your eligibility for need based awards.

Please review your SAR for accuracy, being careful to correct anything that may have been misreported. If corrections are necessary, it is best to do them online. Call the U.S. Department of Education at 800.4FEDAID (800.433.3243) if you do not receive a SAR notification or have questions regarding your SAR.

We may request additional verification documents once we receive your FAFSA information and review it. Please respond to requests for additional documentation promptly as financial aid processing can only continue once these documents have been submitted.

If your family's financial situation changes after you submit your FAFSA and/or you have additional budget considerations, you may request a review of your eligibility by submitting the appropriate Parent Review form and/or Student Review form.
